The Berglodge Steinalp on the Susten Pass is a true pearl of the Swiss Alps, offering an incomparable backdrop for nature lovers and those seeking relaxation.

Our house, the Berglodge Steinalp, can be used in a variety of ways: it serves as group accommodation for KiBe camps and country school weeks, and in spring it is transformed into our ski lodge with a cozy sun terrace.

The Hotel Berghaus is a family business with 19 rooms, quietly situated with a wonderful view of the Jungfrau massif.

A traditional hotel with history

The historic house was built around 1870 by the von Allmen-Gertsch family as one of the first hotels in Mürren.

The traditional hotel cultivates alpine charm, which is underlined by the furnishing with a combination of old and new furniture.

Located in the middle of the forest, above Grindelwald, the knitted building offers its guests an exceptional view over the village towards the northern wall of the Eiger.

After the Youth Hostel Association took over the building in 1939, the number of visitors gradually increased.
