A traditional hotel with history

The historic house was built around 1870 by the von Allmen-Gertsch family as one of the first hotels in Mürren.

The traditional hotel cultivates alpine charm, which is underlined by the furnishing with a combination of old and new furniture.

Those who love the mountains, the peace and the original nature will find relaxation here. The chalet is located in a central but quiet location, only about 100 meters from the Hasliberg-Reuti gondola lift.

Located in the middle of the forest, above Grindelwald, the knitted building offers its guests an exceptional view over the village towards the northern wall of the Eiger.

After the Youth Hostel Association took over the building in 1939, the number of visitors gradually increased.
