The historic house was built around 1870 by the von Allmen-Gertsch family as one of the first hotels in Mürren.

The traditional hotel cultivates alpine charm, which is underlined by the furnishing with a combination of old and new furniture.

In the centre of Wengen, opposite the breathtaking Jungfrau massif stands Hotel Schönegg, one of the oldest houses in this authentic mountain village. Completely renovated in 2012, the traditional house shines in its old glory.
